2019 Rennline Open House!

2019 Rennline Open House

Last weekend we kicked off Fall the right way at our headquarters in Northern Vermont ~ 200 Porsche fans showed up to hang with the Rennline crew, tour the shop and check out some of our newest products. Out front we held a german car show n’ shine with representation from nearly every marque, but of course primarily Porsche’s. With fantastic weather, good food and an awesome crowed it was a fantastic day all round. At 4pm, we all headed over to Zero Gravity, a local brewery to finish the night strong!

Drilled Door Handles

Drilled Door Handles

If you're going for that vintage hot rod style, these drilled chrome door handles will surely look the part. Your factory door handles are probably faded, scratched, and downright ugly, not the mention the fact that the lock cylinders get gummed up and fail over time. Rennline drilled door handles come as a pair and include new gaskets, lock cylinders and keys. These are the early (65-67) style handles which are lighter weight and use a push button rather than a finger trigger to open the door.

Mechanical Decklid Strut

Fully Mechanical Decklid Strut

How many times have you replaced your hood and decklid struts? Us too… that's why we developed a line of fully mechanical hood and decklid struts. This is the last decklid strut that you will ever need. Factory decklid struts are hydraulic filled and will eventually fail, without question. They are sensitive to weight and to temperature making them unreliable and less than ideal for aftermarket decklids and tails. If you've ever installed a fiberglass tail, you've probably also noticed the pressure of the hydraulic shock likes to torque the decklid, usually creating an uneven body gap on the top left side.

Materials

Billet Aluminum

Compatibility

Available for all 911/912/930/964/993

Casing Color

Carbon Fiber, Matte Black, or Silver

Rennline’s fully mechanical hood and decklid struts will not fail for the life of the product, and therefore carry a lifetime warranty. They utilize a billet design with complex machining to ensure a smooth and reliable operation. They're available with either a carbon fiber body or a black aluminum body to suit your style.

Dash Backdate Kit

Dash Backdate Kit

If you have a '74-'89 911/912/930 chances are the lower dashboard is looking pretty rough. Typically, the foam padding is peeling away at the corners, the Radio/HVAC openings are sagging, the plastic bits and pieces are fading, the glovebox door is misaligned, and the list goes on. We’ve seen countless restorations and resto-mods that are absolutely flawless until you sit in the car and are faced with that gloomy factory dash. This is an area that really bothered us in our own restorations, so we finally developed a solution… The Rennline Dash Backdate Kit.

Materials

Carbon Fiber or OEM Style Basketweave

Compatibility

Available for all 911/912/930

Optional Accessories

HVAC Control Panel

The Rennline Dash Backdate kit is a fascia that installs in place of all that OEM ugliness. It does away with the original foam padding, the glovebox door, the seatbelt warning light, and all the other non-necessities. In their place is a beautiful fascia that incorporates a polished extrusion similar to that of the early 911's but in one full length rather than the broken-up sections. Also reminiscent of the early 911's are the extrusion inserts which are available in a number of different options from carbon fiber or basketweave to walnut or stainless steel. This may very well be the final piece of your restoration/resto-mod puzzle.
